Job Description  |  Serves as a liaison between individual high schools and Marshall University with the main purpose of establishing dual credit and dual enrollment courses for high school students.

 Required Qualifications 
Education  | Masters degree required in higher education, education, communications, or related field.
Experience  | Qualifications/Experience: 
1) Establishing that the high school teachers are properly credentialed and qualified to teach the college-level portion of the class and initiating the proper approval process for the instructor and the course at Marshall UniversityCoordinating course creation and entry with appropriate University staff(2) Completing qualified student registrations in approved dual credit course and monitoring progress and changes(3) Communicating with high school and county administrators, and dual credit instructors about university admission requirements, enrollment dates, withdrawal dates, grade entry dates, etc.(4) Establishing communication between Marshall University departmental faculty and dual credit instructors teaching courses in that department(5) Assist the Director in developing additional dual credit programs and initiatives and assist in recruiting and registering students for online and on-campus courses in assigned dual credit high schools(6) Assist director in marketing and promotional events including informational tables, outreach, and other promotion to counties and school districts, and local agencies and groups(7) Work with academic departments to assist with their special programs that support high school students and teachers(8) Assist in coordinating with counties and schools on new dual credit opportunities(9) Communicate and coordinate processed with admissions, recruitment, the Registrar, and Bursar
