Rutgers University is hiring a Dual Enrollment & Pre-College Pathways Program Manager. This role provides independent leadership and strategic direction for Rutgers–Newark's dual enrollment programs, managing program innovation, partnerships, enrollment growth, student success strategies, and compliance. The manager leads cross-functional collaboration and oversees program design, development, and evaluation to expand college access and improve student outcomes.
Highlights
Provide operational oversight of the dual enrollment portfolio and lead the Center for PreCollege Programs leadership team involvement.
Lead partnerships with university leadership, academic units, school districts, government, and community stakeholders.
Develop and enforce program protocols, policies, and services that address academic, social, and special population needs.
Organize planning, budgeting, communications, events, records, and reporting activities.
Coordinate year-round programming including academic workshops, summer activities, trips, and staff recruitment.
Serve as primary liaison with public, private, and charter schools as well as Rutgers–Newark faculty and external partners.
Manage evaluations, assess service levels, prepare fund development recommendations, and report submissions.
Exercise independent judgment in program design, implementation, and continuous improvement of dual enrollment initiatives.
Require proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with educational curricula and social networking applications.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education or related fields, minimum 2 years supervisory experience, and preferably a master's degree; knowledge of Newark communities is highly valued.
Salary range from $82,166 to $125,837 with benefits including medical, dental, retirement plans, and educational benefits.
