Job Description
Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

The CVCC Dual Enrollment Program is committed to providing access to affordable, quality educational and job-training opportunities to high school students in the region. This position provides administrative support for the Dual Enrollment Program and serves the Dual Enrollment Coordinator in a variety of administrative duties and functions.

Special Assignments  | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team supporting high school dual enrollment students and programs at CVCC. Strong knowledge of dual enrollment policies and practices to facilitate onboarding and provide ongoing support to students, school divisions, and college stakeholders. Skilled in using computers and a variety of software applications to manage data, communication, and program logistics. Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute events that support student engagement and program success. Capable of organizing and communicating large volumes of information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, representing CVCC with integrity and professionalism. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively across multiple platforms and settings.
