The Operations Manager, Nebraska East Union provides leadership and management within the Nebraska East Union. This position will oversee the daily operational needs of the Nebraska East Union in the areas of event management and facilitation, custodial and maintenance needs, marketing coordination and recreation. In addition, assist with event set up, execution, and guest services within all Student Life facilities. This position serves as the departmental representative and assists with planning and coordination of the Nebraska Union Advisory Board.

Minimum Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field. Two years of experience working with facilities management. Must have 2 years progressive supervisory experience. Experience in fiscal management, human resource development, office/administrative management, risk management/safety and strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree: Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel Services, MBA, Construction Management or related degree within business or construction management.
Facilities management experience in college/university setting. Experience with recreation facilities management.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre-employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. | No
