Primary Purpose

We are seeking an Education Design Strategist to help shape innovative workforce education solutions that connect educational providers with the evolving needs of employers and learners. In this role you will develop and deliver education solutions that connect workforce needs with learning opportunities. This role supports products such as career pathways, provider networks, and customized education offerings by leveraging workforce trends, skills data, credentials, and educational program insights.

The position conducts qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and discovery sessions, to identify opportunities and generate actionable recommendations. Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, the strategist translates research findings into scalable education solutions that support workforce development goals.

As a client-facing role, the Education Design Strategist collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design impactful education programs, communicate insights, and drive successful outcomes.

The consultant will report to the Director, Education Design Strategy within the EdAssist Product Team.

This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver career pathways, provider networks, and workforce education solutions.

  • Evaluate and recommend education providers, credentials, and learning solutions aligned with client needs and workforce trends.

  • Conduct research to identify workforce, learner, and organizational needs and translate insights into recommendations.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and product demonstrations to stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams on implementation, quality assurance, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution.

  • Analyze labor market data to support career pathways, education strategies, and internal mobility initiatives.

  • Synthesize research, stakeholder feedback, and market insights into actionable strategies.

  • Track and analyze workforce education and provider performance data to support product strategy and continuous improvement

Receives limited direction and exercises independent judgement within the scope of their role

Job Requirements – Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required

  • Master's Degree - Preferred

  • 3 years of consulting experience—ideally with an educational research or workforce education program design or administration focus - Required

Additional Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; Salesforce and Monday.com preferred.

  • Familiarity with Lightcast preferred.

  • Strategic, consultative approach with strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments.

  • Healthcare education and credentialing experience preferred.

Compensation: 

The annual salary for this position is between $93,000 – $104,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 80 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law)
