The University of Florida Center for Online Innovation and Production (COIP) is hiring an Education/Training Specialist II. The role involves collaborating with instructional designers to develop engaging, accessible online courses using Canvas LMS, enhancing multimedia content, ensuring ADA compliance, and managing projects through to launch.
Highlights
Develop and enhance online course content in Canvas LMS, including assignments and learner activities.
Collaborate with instructional designers on program development and review course documents for quality and clarity.
Create and modify multimedia elements such as images, audio, video, and PowerPoint presentations.
Ensure all course materials comply with ADA standards for accessibility.
Track project progress using project management tools and communicate status updates with team members.
Provide training and mentorship on established design standards and workflows.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of online learning, instructional design, graphic design, computer-based training, and strong collaboration skills.
Strong written and verbal communication, adaptability to changing environments, and problem-solving capabilities are important.
Works closely with a cross-functional team including instructional designers, graphic designers, videographers, and educational technologists.
