Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary | Administrative Assistant / Marketing / Community Engagement.
Responsibilities | Basic administrative assistants with data input, graphic website updates, EXCEL spreadsheets, PDF, Microsoft Office, social media management, and campus safety education during tabling events. Assisting with emergency evacuation training, and obtain CPR certification. Conduct inspections on main campus. Create digital signage and marketing materials for safety programs and training on campus. Create visual content for Public Safety’s social media (videos, photos, graphics, etc.) Keep up with and understand social media platforms and social media trends (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X) Monitor and respond to messages and comments on social media and email Assist with community outreach events and publicizing them Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications | A desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
Desired Qualifications | Basic graphic design experience (Canva) Basic video production abilities Knowledge of higher education Community and/or customer service experience
