Position OverviewThis position provides services across multiple human resources functions including employee recognition, employee engagement, project management, and communications. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of employee programs and events. The position manages all aspects of highly visible events, executing all logistics, budget, demonstrating superior customer service, exercising considerable initiative and independent judgment, and operating with a high level of detail in the performance of assigned duties.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field; two years of relevant work experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:Manages the execution of various employee programs and annual events for the UNT Enterprise. The programs would include employee recognition, appreciation, and engagement. Examples include but are not limited to, Chancellors Holiday party, Service Awards, Employee Appreciation events, Community Service Day, Values, and Staff Awards. Collaborates with colleagues across campus to coordinate large- and small-scale special events, including close coordination with the Office of the Chancellor, Offices of the Presidents, and Marketing & Communication. Serves as department representative on various campus committees. Consults with and provides event direction to internal and external constituents regarding specific aspects of campuswide event presentation and execution, including room arrangement, service scheduling, decor, catering, equipment, marketing and communication, parking and transportation, VIP handling, etc. Assesses events, initiatives and programs by evaluating event attendance trends and collecting both formal and informal feedback from partners and attendees to develop recommendations for improvement. Performs post event evaluations to assess event’s success and identify areas for improvement. Implement initiatives to enhance future event execution to provide meaningful employee recognition and engagement experiences.Responsible for event related budget management, including tracking available funding from university designated or department donated funds, to ensure that expenditures do not exceed funds available. Provides project management support to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across Human Resources. This includes the coordination of internal resources and third-party vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope, and managing stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with coordination of Human Resources communications schedule to include drafting & editing content, posting content to internet & intranet, emails, etc. Provide varied administrative support including front desk management, submission of ePARs and requisitions, Pcard, scheduling, etc.
