POSITION SPECIFICS
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Project Manager to join the All-Domain Analytics and Signatures Office (A2SO) of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University to work with a government sponsor.  This will be a hybrid position, requiring onsite work at the sponsor location in Washington, DC and remotely.

ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
You will:
  • Coordination of CONUS production and shipping with host site construction to ensure timely delivery of all required materials to various contractor entities to ensure smooth installation schedule
  • Coordination with host site leads to ensure construction milestones align with system milestones to keep schedule running smoothly
  • Answer Requests for Information (RFIs) directed at the Project Management Office (PMO) related to construction requirements
  • Support the Project Manager (PM), maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and provide periodic updates to Milestone Decision Authority and resource sponsors
  • Assist PMO leadership with monitoring financial performance, evaluating resource allocation, and preparing Program Operations Manager (POM) submissions
  • Develop briefings and exhibits to support programmatic and budgetary review cycles
  • Brief leadership on status of cost, schedule, and technical performance of ongoing efforts
  • Employ risk-based decision making/apply resources to innovative solutions to mitigate risk of cost overrun and schedule delay
  • Coordinate with other government and contractor entities on behalf of PMO to ensure requirements are well documented, resources are allocated, and execution is on plan
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned (developing briefings, filling out forms, managing tasks, etc.)
Required skills/experience areas include:
  • Leadership, program management, and/or military experience
  • Certification/Training in project management, LEAN Sig Sigma, or other similar programs
  • Active DoD security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI w/Polygraph level
This will be a hybrid position, requiring onsite work at the sponsor location in Washington, DC and some travel overseas.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $97,100.00 - $145,700.00.**THE PROPOSED SALARY RANGE MAY BE IMPACTED BY GEOGRAPHIC DIFFERENTIAL**
