Job Description

As an English and History Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. What You’ll Do: 
  • Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time. 
  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs. 
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture. 
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.

What We’re Looking For: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus. 
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.  
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges. 
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning. 
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment. 
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
