Job Description
Fusion Academy is the school that changes everything! We are a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades  5–12. As a Science and Math Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student — academically, socially, and emotionally. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.  
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.
  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
  • Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
