Job Description  | The Enrollment Coordinator supports the full life-cycle processing of graduate applications (MBA, M.S., Ph.D.; online and residential) and advances Whitman 2030 priorities for data-driven, technology-enabled enrollment management. Reporting to the Executive Director of Graduate Admissions & Student Recruitment, the role processes applications in Slate, drives process automations with campus partners, administers graduate funding letters, and supplies clean, timely data for rankings and strategic planning. This position will assist in accelerating decision turnaround, safeguards data integrity, and delivers a best-in-class applicant experience.

This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree required; or Associate’s degree plus four years of full-time experience in a higher-education office may substitute. Demonstrated systems-administration experience, preferably with a CRM (SLATE preferred) or admissions platform is desirable.
Skills and Knowledge  | Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high functioning team, multitask under pressure, and exercise sound judgment and confidentiality. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Resourceful, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Capacity to balance and meet deadlines with accuracy and composure. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Background in educational recruitment or graduate admissions strongly preferred.
Responsibilities  | Oversee, process, and monitor graduate applications (MBA, M.S., Ph.D. for online and residential programs). Process files for completeness, request missing materials, and communicate next steps to applicants. Coordinate with other program leaders as appropriate. Administer Ph.D. summer funding and TA/RA appointments. Generate offer letters, track acceptances, and coordinate timelines with the Graduate School. Lead process automation initiatives by partnering with Enrollment Management and Information Technology Services to reduce manual data entry and implement new Slate features. Coordinate Slate training and refresher sessions for other program leaders as needed. Alongside the executive director, collaborate with faculty leaders to provide admissions updates. Collaborate with SU’s Office of Admissions Reporting and IR to build queries and reports that streamline data for rankings surveys and other strategic activities.
