Job Description
The Enrollment Learning and Development Partner is a dynamic and motivated professional responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating high-impact training and development initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and competencies of enrollment staff. This role manages the full training lifecycle, including new hire onboarding, technical skills development, sustainment training, and professional growth initiatives; and is responsible for creating scalable eLearning and instructor-led training experiences based on business needs, utilizing best practices in instructional design and Agile-based project management principles.
The Enrollment Learning and Development Partner collaborates closely with internal and external subject matter experts to research, design, and incorporate proven learning strategies and quality practices into curriculum and training events. They develop learning solutions that include classroom and virtual training, eLearning modules, job aids, coaching resources, and other performance support tools.
This position plays a critical role in managing large, high-profile, project-based training events and multiple development initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They partner with leadership teams on talent development efforts, assist with talent management activities, and serve as advocates for learner success by delivering data-driven results and reporting progress to stakeholders.
By fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, the Enrollment Learning and Development Partner drives business results through innovative learning and performance improvement strategies across the enrollment department.
Responsibilities

- Develops, implements, and manages effective training plans, and programs, for large-scale, high-priority enrollment initiatives.
- Designs and delivers blended learning experiences with a strong emphasis on asynchronous eLearning development and innovative instructional strategies.
- Conducts training needs analyses to identify performance gaps and collaborates with stakeholders to develop targeted learning and development solutions for new hires and existing enrollment staff.
- Facilitates engaging training sessions, webinars, and workshops; provides coaching and feedback to enhance knowledge application and skill development.
- Creates, documents, maintains, and enforces high-quality training materials, process guides, and workflows, ensuring accuracy and alignment with enrollment goals.
- Oversees and supports the rollout of new systems, processes, and tools across the enrollment department through strategic training campaigns.
- Actively and creatively innovate improved learning tools, resources, and processes to enhance training effectiveness and learner engagement.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with leadership, project managers, subject matter experts, quality assurance teams, and technology partners to ensure training content and delivery meet operational needs.
- Develops assessments, evaluations, surveys, and other feedback tools to measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Provides data-driven insights and reports on learning outcomes and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
- Integrates and teaches the effective use of learning technologies and adapts training solutions to align with emerging technology trends.
- Serves as a development coach and learning consultant, empowering enrollment professionals and leaders to enhance their skills and drive individual and team performance.
- Demonstrates self-management, initiative, and professionalism in handling project assignments and day-to-day responsibilities.
- Promotes and advocates for the use of learning and development solutions to drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional written and oral communication with demonstrated ability to foster growth, coach learners, and influence performance improvement.
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to collect, analyze, and report on learning effectiveness and business impact.
- Awareness of data-driven learning evaluation methods and how to apply them to measure training effectiveness.
- Strong facilitation skills for both live (in-person and virtual) and asynchronous learning environments.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate training approaches, resources, and engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally.

Education
- Bachelors degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communication, or related field.
Experience
- 3+ years experience in training delivery, instructional design, learning development, or related professional development roles.
- Experience designing and delivering both in-person and online (asynchronous/blended) learning programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning principles, distance-learning best practices, and instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, Design Thinking, Agile for Learning projects).
- Demonstrated proficiency with educational technology platforms and authoring tools such as Articulate360 (Rise, Storyline), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator preferred), and Lucidchart.
- Demonstrated experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas, Cornerstone, OwlEdge) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Business, or related field.
- Training, learning development, or talent development experience, preferably in higher education or enrollment services.
- Experience developing technical or systems training, including EdTech product rollouts.
- Working knowledge of Agile project management methodologies applied in training or development environments.
- 3+ year’s experience with coaching, leadership development, and/or talent management initiatives.
- Experience creating and delivering learning solutions for large-scale audiences and cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
Experience in lieu of education
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.
Physical Requirements:
