Job Description 
The Enrollment Services Specialist creates a welcoming and service-oriented experience by providing Welcome Desk coverage and serving as the first point of contact for current and prospective students, visitors, and community members. The position delivers accurate information and responsive support through email, phone, chat, and in-person interactions.

The Enrollment Services Specialist serves as a resource during the new student process by assessing student progress and connecting students to the appropriate next steps or resources, such as new student coaches, orientation, advising, and financial aid. The Enrollment Services Specialist will collect, review, and evaluate domicile appeal documentation, making a sound determination of tuition status by interpreting Virginia state law and in accordance with SCHEV guidelines.

The Enrollment Services Specialist requires use of SIS to facilitate enrollment services functions, including but not limited to, resolving admissions holds, change of data, program plan changes, enrollment requests, and residency updates. The Enrollment Services Specialist works in collaboration with Student Services departments college-wide to support shared initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned and serves as backup evening coverage.

This position is seated in person at the Middletown Campus, providing coverage Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-12pm. Occasional evening and weekend coverage may be required.

Compensation and Benefits
