This role collaborates with the campus community to design, deploy, and support integrated enterprise resource planning and database solutions, focusing on security, scalability, and performance tuning. The position manages containerized applications, Kubernetes orchestration, Oracle databases, and develops backup and disaster-prevention strategies to ensure university system reliability.

Deploy and upgrade containerized Apache Tomcat applications using automated DevOps pipelines.
Manage Kubernetes orchestration in cloud environments.
Ensure performance, security, and availability of Oracle database systems.
Monitor and tune database performance; apply security patches and enforce database security standards.
Develop and test backup, recovery, and disaster-prevention strategies.
Preferred skills include Oracle and MS SQL Server administration, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, Docker, and CI/CD/DevOps tools.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least two years in IT, experience with Linux servers, web server and database management.
Salary range: $61,316 - $68,000 annually.
Works with campus community and Information Services department, requiring availability during evenings, nights, and weekends for critical system support.
