Job Summary
Provides maintenance and operational support for the PantherSoft Campus Solutions system thru technical analysis and business knowledge of the PeopleSoft modules
  • Provides technical support and coordinates activities of a subset of administrative and management information processing systems that are a subset of the student support systems for the University.
  • Responsible for student financial aid, including the electronic transfer of data to/from financial institutions as well as the interfaces that are necessary between the student and fiscal systems, and related BOR annual file submissions.
  • Responds to client department requests using written, oral and face-to-face interaction.
  • Responsible for the full maintenance, support, and administration of batch and online software supporting the Student Financial Aid system, including PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid. Responsibilities include supporting federal and state financial aid processing, regulatory and compliance requirements, annual aid-year configuration, federal updates and patches, interfaces, batch processing, troubleshooting, testing, and production support for systems hosted at NWRDC. Assumed responsibility for the Financial Aid applications acquired from SSDS as part of the Board of Regents organizational transition.
  • Works with developers in the implementation of new or revised computer systems and procedures including responsibility for maintenance and development functions, and operation of acquired software.
  • Participates in the assessment, planning and implemntation of new integrated University wide applications systems as member of team tasked with recommending data conversion from old systems, establishment of new interfaces to/from the new systems and preparation of software for testing in supported functional area.
  • Plan and monitor the training of assigned staff for PC desktop skills, new systems and programming tools software.
  • Assists in design reviews and software audits as necessasry to ensure compliance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Assists in the use of optimum techniques by means of in-depth analysis of assigned applications systems and in the assessment of technological needs related to the use of development tools.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field; Six (6) years of design and development experience with PeopleSoft, Campus Solutions, Financials/Contracts and Grants, Human Capital Management, Enterprise Portal, or other ERP system; Six (6) years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and support.

Master's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field; Three (3) years of design and development experience with PeopleSoft, Campus Solutions, Financials/Contracts and Grants, Human Capital Management, Enterprise Portal, or other ERP system; Three (3) years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and support.
