Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an exceptionally organized and dynamic Marketing Events Manager to be the driving force behind our entire events strategy. You will be the sole owner of all local, regional, and national events, turning strategic event participation into measurable lead generation and brand awareness.

This role requires a proactive approach, impeccable execution, and the ability to work independently to manage a high volume of logistical demands. You will be a key player in bridging the gap between our marketing and sales teams, ensuring every event delivers maximum ROI.

This is a high-volume, high-impact role where you will own the full event lifecycle from research to ROI analysis.

Event Strategy & Execution (70+ Events Annually!)
  • Total Ownership: Manage all logistics for 70+ contracted events per year, including trade shows, conferences, and virtual events. This includes: tracking deadlines, registration, booth selection, payment, organizing materials, swag, shipping, and travel arrangements.
  • Strategic Research: Proactively research and recommend new external trade shows and conferences targeting key audiences: Public Information Officers (PIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), and Superintendents.
  • Budget Management: Own and meticulously manage the overall trade show and events budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Hands-On Travel: Travel to at least 2 key marketing events per year to provide on-site support, and evaluate our processes and strategies firsthand.

Lead Generation & ROI
  • Pre- & Post-Event Marketing: Provide hands-on marketing support, driving pre-event lead generation campaigns and post-event follow-up coordination.
  • Impact Analysis: Capture and meticulously track event leads in our CRM dashboard to calculate the ROI for each event and the overall impact of our marketing efforts.

Partnerships & Brand Management
  • Association Coordination: Work with national school leadership organizations (e.g., CoSN, ISTE, NSPRA) and their local/state chapters, as well as regional education service agencies.
  • Speaker Coordination: Organize and manage speaking opportunities for ParentSquare executives and subject matter experts at various events.
  • Swag Management: Manage all ParentSquare swag and branded items, including vendor partnerships, warehousing, inventory management, and fulfilling requests from across the organization.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 2+ years of direct experience managing events specifically designed to generate leads for a B2B or EdTech company.
  • Execution Focus: Exceptional organizational skills and an unrelenting attention to detail. You thrive on managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Executives, to deliver successful events.
  • Independence: The ability to work independently and take full ownership of your domain.
  • Travel Readiness: A desire to travel for key conferences and meetings (approximately 2+ times per year).
