Description of Work The Executive Assistant provides highly skilled professional support to the Vice Chancellor and Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Life. The role requires high-level decision making, prioritization, coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Responsibilities include providing executive level administrative support to the Vice Chancellor, overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Life, and management of projects that are integral to the success of the Division of Student Life. The successful candidate must function independently, be highly organized, and provide outstanding customer service. The Executive Assistant will join an energetic, student-centered, and team-oriented staff that leverages individual strengths and innovation to achieve the Student Life mission and vision.

Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or equivalent education/experience. 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Demonstrated experience working with high-level administrators. Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Experience problem solving and making sound judgement. Possess a service-oriented approach to all aspects of work. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member. Proficiency in the following software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Zoom.
Preferred Qualifications | 2 years’ experience working in higher education. Experience supervising student or professional staff.
