Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the President of BSIG. The job will also function as a project driven support role to the Claims, Finance, and Actuarial and the Underwriting Units; at the discretion and direction of the President.
- Answer general company phone line
- Coordinate conventions, divisional meetings; which includes logistics for on and off-site meetings for each region as requested.
- Plan and coordinate all office functions and special office events.
- Review and forward invoices for payment.
- Order office supplies
- Generate and manage security badges for door access
- Coordinate company rewards program
- Update employee emergency list, company phone list, and organizational charts, ensuring appropriate company distribution.
- Maintain company petty cash account, reconciling quarterly to ensure funds and accuracy.
- Provide all other duties as assigned by the President and COO of BSUM.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in an insurance environment.
- Possess the ability to relate to all levels of the organization, work independently, and demonstrate priority management and the willingness to take ownership of job responsibilities; and develop trust through demonstrated personal integrity.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, as well as possessing negotiation skills focusing on cost effectiveness.
- Ability to draft correspondence that is clear, concise, complete and professional.
- Demonstrate organizational skills while working on multiple projects. Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality when dealing with employee related matters.
Education
- High School Graduate/ GED
