Type: This is a full-time position

About the Team
The College Board Operations division manages the digital test delivery process for millions of students each year. Our Assessment Delivery Operations (ADO) team is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the successful execution of digital assessments like the SAT and Advanced Placement examinations. Among its many responsibilities, ADO ensures that test sites meet security and network requirements, test proctors are credentialed and trained to administer tests consistently and fairly, students arrive on test day with the correct documents and testing materials, and that testing issues are promptly addressed. Our team plays a critical and essential role in the success of students and educators before, during, and after test day. And due to its central role in supporting College Board’s mission, ADO works closely with partners and stakeholders across College Board, the education sector, and beyond to shape and improve testing technologies, customer experience, and testing outcomes.

About the Opportunity
As Executive Director, Recruiting & Readiness for Digital Delivery, you will lead and manage the team responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and preparing students and educators to successfully engage with our assessments both in school and at test centers around the world. To ensure that every student has a consistent testing experience, your team will work closely and at-scale with our educational partners. Your team will achieve this objective by proactively connecting educators with digital trainings and resources, monitoring the completion of required materials and pre-test process steps, and working to expand test day seating capacity to match student demand.

As the team leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the execution of the operational processes that ensure our customers are ready to test. You’ll guide staff efforts to recruit new test centers, including K-12 schools, higher educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and commercial spaces, with a sharp focus on test center retention and sustainability. You’ll help your teams develop new methods for supporting educator participation in offering our assessments and work closely with ADO leadership to develop new partnerships. You'll help shape and re-define our recruitment, training, and other pre-test pipelines to minimize test day issues, improve efficiency, and maximize customer satisfaction by eliminating unnecessary process steps and better meeting customer needs. As a result, you’ll redefine test day success for millions of students and educators each year, saving them time, improving their experience, and ensuring a smooth customer journey across our operational processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Bring proven leadership experience and consistently embody College Board’s Manager Expectations in your work.
  • Help staff to set ambitious but obtainable goals tied to customer success; ensuring that teams understand the key role they play in student and educator success.
  • Work with ADO analytic teams, finance, data science, and testing program partners to identify test day demand; adapting goals, strategies, and processes to meet changing student, educator, and stakeholder needs.
