Promote and provide support for 4-H Clubs in Yancey County.
Assist Extension Agent with recruiting, training, and managing volunteer leaders.
Help develop, plan, and implement youth development workshops, camps, and enrichment programs.
Create marketing programs to attract youth and volunteers from diverse sectors.
Maintain accurate records for youth and volunteers, ensuring compliance with university regulations and financial management requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Office suite.
Minimum education required: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced related training preferred.
Valid North Carolina driver's license required within 60 days of hire; personal transportation mandatory.
Anticipated salary range: $35,000 to $40,000 per year.
Work schedule includes 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
