Savvas Learning Company is seeking a part-time Field Sales Specialist to work in our Ohio territory, supporting sales efforts throughout the state.
This position will be required to attend on-site customer meetings in Ohio and candidates must reside within the state to be considered.
Responsibilities:
· Implements specified project components under the direction of the local Account Manager.
· Oversees projects related to marketing materials such as creating, copying, organizing, collating, or delivering on behalf on an Account Manager or the Market Manager.
· Strategically plans sales calls by outlined objectives and action steps from Account Manager.
· Participates in customer calls with an Account Manager to answer questions to assist with a sale.
· Performs customer outreach calls on behalf of Account Manager to follow up on product delivery, or to answer additional customer questions.
· Responds to customers’ requests and problems with appropriate timeliness and concern; Develops professional credibility and trust with the customer.
· Prepares materials needed for conferences, meetings, or lunch & learn events.
· Assists with various pre-presentation activities such as tabbing books, setting up displays and transporting of materials to evaluation sites.
· Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information, and resolves routine problems.
· Provides general administrative or clerical assistance.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· B.A. degree or equivalent experience preferred.
· K-12 classroom or curriculum experience preferred.
· Experience in a sales-driven, quality-oriented organization preferred.
· Proven experience networking with and influencing decision makers.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
· Computer skills with knowledge of Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
· Strong analytical skills.

· Ability to drive decision makers to Savvas sales solutions.
· Flexible and adaptable approach to a changing organization.
· Must have excellent listening skills in delivering customer requested solutions.
· Effective time management and communication via phone, emails, and site visits with customers.
· High learning curve when it comes to gaining knowledge of new and existing product lines and solutions.
· Ability to use, demonstrate, stay current and drive technology trends internally and externally.
Other:
· Travel within the assigned territory will be required.

This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. The posted hiring range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting and remains subject to modification. Compensation is determined by factors such as but not limited to skills, experience, budget, and internal equity.
Hiring Range: $20 - $37/hr.
