Job Summary:
The Field Training Coordinator supports the execution and administration of training and apprenticeship programs across Primoris Renewable Energy field operations. This role builds training calendars, coordinates classes, tracks attendance and completions, monitors apprentice progress, and ensures accurate records in the LMS while supporting field trainers and training team leadership.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Build, maintain, and distribute training calendars for field training and Registered Apprenticeship Program activities across multiple job sites, coordinate dates, locations, and participants with trainers and site leadership
  • Coordinate training sessions including sending calendar invites, reserving classrooms or training spaces, creating virtual meeting links (Teams/Zoom), and preparing training logistics.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) by assigning employees to training, entering sessions and attendance, auditing records for accuracy, and maintaining up‑to‑date training and apprenticeship data.
  • Generate and distribute training, attendance, completion, and apprentice progress reports on established cadences and as requested by leadership and site teams.
  • Support field trainers, apprentices, and site personnel by answering training‑related questions, and communicating training requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage training materials and logistics, including ordering, tracking, and distributing physical materials (binders, guides, apprenticeship resources) to job sites and offices; assist with classroom setup and breakdown as needed.
  • Other duties assigned.
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Highschool degree or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a coordination position.
  • Previous LMS experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and tasks at once. 
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with internal teams and field personnel.
  • Provides reliable administrative and operational support to field operations.
  • Experience with construction or apprenticeship programs preferred.

Pay Equity

$50-70k per year
