Field Training Specialist

• Lead Train-the-Trainer programs and certify leaders and trainers across multiple distribution centers.
• Coach and mentor trainers to effectively deliver onboarding, equipment certification, job skills, safety, and leadership training.
• Assess training program effectiveness and compliance, partnering with site leadership to address gaps and drive improvements.
• Conduct trainer audits and provide feedback to ensure consistent training delivery and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to standardized training materials, processes, and best practices across all company locations.
• Monitor onboarding compliance and support successful new hire integration through 30-60-90 day review processes.
• Facilitate trainer development workshops and collaborative discussions focused on instructional effectiveness and employee engagement.

• Partner with the Safety Team to ensure trainers are equipped to deliver job-specific safety and equipment training in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate First Aid, CPR, and other safety certification programs across all distribution centers.
• Verify and maintain qualifications and certifications for First Responders at each location.
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace safety practices and reduce operational risk.
• Support site safety initiatives and reinforce a culture of safety throughout the organization.

• Maintain accurate and organized training and certification records.
• Ensure training documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Track trainer certifications and monitor ongoing compliance requirements.

• Leadership & Coaching: Ability to develop, motivate, and inspire trainers and leaders.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance practices.
• Communication Skills: Effective presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Safety Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training coordination, trainer development, learning & development, or a related role.
• Experience leading Train-the-Trainer programs and delivering safety-focused training.
• Background in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments preferred.
• Experience with order/cherry pickers and rf scanners
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and training record management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support multiple company locations.
