Job Summary
The Financial Aid Counselor serves as the main administrative role for the processing of federal, state and institutional financial aid programs. The position requires the employee to gain an in depth knowledge of Title IV regulations, and all related University policies and procedures needed to successfully assist in the management of the Universityâs aid programs. The Counselor is also responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, parents and other campus partners such as Drexel Central, the Office of the Bursarâs, etc. The position requires the ability to help triage difficult student situations on the universityâs behalf, and the desire to work collaboratively with other offices on campus to successfully resolve student cases.

This position is classified as Exempt, grade J. Compensation for this grade ranges from $47,490 - $71,230.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidateâs qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
