Job Summary  | The Financial Navigator is responsible for comprehensive, culturally-competent, patient financial management and advocacy. The Navigator conducts patient financial navigation and patient fiscal needs assessments and provides patient financial education. They will work closely with patients and their caregivers, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other co-workers to determine and execute the most appropriate fiscal solutions. The Navigator will provide analytical and operational support for relevant patient financial-related activities that may include, but are not limited to, billing and payment processes, analysis and strategy to avoid patient financial toxicity, Federal and State assistance application processes, research or grant enrollment processes, and drug replacement and/or copayment services. Position is on campus and not subject to any remote work.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities  | Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as demonstrated cultural sensitivity. Must obtain kynector certification within two weeks of hire date.
