Vector Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and strategic FP&A Analyst to play a key role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within the Company. This role will be instrumental in driving financial insight and supporting strategic decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, demonstrate the ability to think critically and problem solve, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams both within finance and across the firm. The FP&A Analyst will partner with senior leadership across the firm to build strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate and develop strategic and investment business plans, build KPIs, evaluate financial performance, and be an asset across the firm. In addition, this role will involve special projects and ad hoc requests that may require additional effort to meet deadlines.
What You'll Do:
- Develop a deep understanding of our business, the drivers and levers that impact the P&L, how we manage and monitor performance, and become an asset across the department and firm.
- Generate complete and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages including income statement, balance sheet, and cashflows, on a GAAP and Proforma reporting basis.
- Generate monthly analytics and variance analysis for each member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to help manage spending and performance, identifying trends and partnering with departments to provide insight and further assessment/analysis when appropriate.
- Support the preparation of lender reporting packages to ensure compliance and timely delivery of all required deliverables.
- Support the annual budget planning process by managing the flow of information to and from each of the functional business lines, including providing insightful analysis to improve the planning process as well as the quality of the information used in planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights in support of strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Build detailed financial models to support project-based initiatives, including ad hoc analytics to drive business insights.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities. Implement improvements to streamline processes, financial analysis, and reporting procedures.
- Develop executive level presentations to summarize results.
- Ensure consistent, reliable work by checking work, communicating status/progress, fully understanding the deliverables, showing a clear understanding of what is represented in the work product, and formulating value-added insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience that includes accounting and financial reporting, FP&A, corporate finance, or comparable positions.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel and proficient in other Microsoft products (Word and PowerPoint)
- Prior experience working with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Manage workload in a dynamic and fast-paced, results-driven environment, meeting deliverable due dates.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and experience with Proforma reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to partner cross functionally with leaders across the organization.
- Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic and critical thinking.
- Experience working at a PE sponsored firm or SaaS organization preferred.

$95,000-115,000 salary depending on experience
