Job Description:
The Digital Fundraising Manager leads the strategy, execution, and optimization of Arizona PBS's digital fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for growing online revenue, expanding the digital donor pipeline, and deepening engagement across email, website, text messaging (SMS), social media, paid digital campaigns, and emerging platforms. This position blends creativity with analytics and innovation. The Digital Fundraising Manager will leverage AI tools, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making to optimize donor acquisition, retention, and lifetime value — ensuring Arizona PBS remains at the forefront of modern philanthropic strategy.

Position Salary Range:
  • $65,000 to $80,000 annually; DOE

Essential Duties:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy aligned with annual revenue goals.
  • Grow online giving through integrated, multi-channel campaigns including email, SMS/text messaging, paid media, website optimization, social media, and peer-to-peer efforts.
  • Integrate digital strategy into on-air drives, major station initiatives, and special fundraising campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Engagement & Marketing, Membership, and Programming teams to align messaging, audience insights, and campaign timing.
  • Lead strategy and execution of SMS and mobile fundraising campaigns, including text-to-give initiatives, donor reminders, pledge drive engagement, and event-based messaging.
  • Develop segmentation and personalized messaging strategies to increase engagement and response rates.
  • Ensure compliance with SMS regulations and best practices while optimizing donor experience.
  • Integrate SMS with email, social media, and on-air messaging to create cohesive multi-channel donor journeys.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools and analytics platforms to enhance segmentation, personalization, donor journey mapping, and predictive modeling.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and refine messaging, creative, and targeting using A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Identify emerging technologies and digital philanthropy trends to drive innovation and growth.
  • Oversee email marketing strategy including segmentation, automation, personalization, and campaigns (Public Media Gives Day, Giving Tuesday and events).•
  • Manage digital donor acquisition, retention, reactivation, and upgrade campaigns.•
  • Ensure accurate tracking, data hygiene, and reporting within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing platforms.
  • Use behavioral and engagement data to create tailored donor experiences across email and mobile channels.
  • Optimize donation forms, landing pages, and digital experiences to increase conversion rates.
  • Implement SEO best practices and strategies to grow organic traffic and conversion.
  • Manage paid advertising across Google, Meta, and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee digital acquisition and retargeting campaigns using audience data and performance insights.
  • Monitor KPIs including conversion rate, cost per acquisition, donor lifetime value, retention, and ROI.
  • Track engagement and performance across email, SMS, web, and social channels.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Present insights and strategy adjustments to leadership and cross-functional teams.
This role works in close partnership with:
  • Brand Engagement & Marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling and audience growth strategies.
  • Membership to align digital acquisition and retention efforts with broader donor engagement goals.
  • Programming to leverage compelling content and mission-driven storytelling that inspires philanthropic support.
