Position Overview | This position is responsible for processing gifts and pledges and researching donor information updating records, generating reports, responding to inquiries and providing customer services. The position will ensure the overall accuracy of gift and donor records and will assist in training and educating other staff with the University of Idaho. This position will interact collegially with University Foundation, including all the different units and other University partners on routine and non-routine activities.
Duties may include: Receive and record incoming donations, gifts and contributions through various channels, including mail, online platforms, and in-person transactions Process financial transactions associated with donations, including credit card payments, checks, electronic funds transfers and stock gifts Reconcile donation records with financial reports and bank statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data Generate acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other correspondence to donors in a timely and personalized manner, expressing gratitude for their contributions Other duties as assigned

Required Experience | One year monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors Researching a variety of sources to resolve problems Entering and retrieving data using computerized records system

Additional Preferred | Experience in/with: Following directions and procedures Using a large integrated database system such as Banner and/or a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software solution Manipulating database software to store, retrieve, and compile information into report format Written and verbal communication skills Customer service experience
