In this role, you will focus on executing a systematic process of discovering, analyzing, and providing learning solutions that support GlobalView Payroll within the Global Payroll business unit. You will provide insight and influence the overall business unit learning strategy. This role is the single point of continuity between the Business and Enterprise Learning, providing alignment between BU specific goals and the Enterprise Learning strategy.
No two days are the same. You will do everything from building and cultivating strong relationships within business units, Enterprise Learning, and the broader learning community, develop business cases for learning portfolios and champion initiatives from design to execution through understanding and communicating results. You are capable of building training plans for the business leveraging the learning assets from the Learning Centers of Expertise. You will become an advocate on behalf of the business and update business partners regarding services available from Enterprise Learning. You will also use data analytics to determine where we can improve and focus our learning. You will assist with the management of the annual training cost/revenue center budget.
To thrive in the role, you have 5+ years of experience in a corporate training role and/or have experience with training design, delivery, and prior leadership facilitation experience. You have worked independently to align vision, purpose, and outcomes across courses, programs, learning paths, business units, products, and global learning. You have strong project management and analytical skills and strive for continuous improvement of our solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
- Innovation: You seek opportunities to apply innovative design thinking to your projects and provide recommendations for actions to improve organizational performance.
- Flexibility and Agility: You can adapt to changing business requirements, projects, and resources and use agile approaches to meet business needs. You will partner and consult with BU Shared Support Teams to tailor global and learning initiatives to the unique needs of each BU, while identifying roadblocks to task completion and involve line management for resolution. You anticipate business unit needs and recommend effective solutions to achieve business unit goals and strategic objectives.
- Design: You will partner with the design team and be responsible for the “complete training cycle” including identifying training needs, design, development, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of training solutions nationally to all levels through the organization. You will work with the Enterprise Learning team to develop new learning services contributing to the increased business and revenue.
- Development: You can develop solutions across a broad set of learning modalities and tools without creating redundant solutions and ensure that continuous learning and performance support concepts are applied. You will construct training plans for the business, leveraging the learning assets from the Learning Centers of Expertise.
- Learning Outcomes: You identify and define success measures for training interventions to evaluate the performance and business impact of learning solutions and gather and analyze data to propose actions that drive continuous improvement and drive new learning opportunities.
- Continuous Learner: You focus on personal development to develop and elevate professional knowledge and skill. You take the same approach to business process improvement to improve ADP learning standards and drive the adoption of those standards. You maintain an outside-in perspective by building and maintaining peer networks inside and outside ADP.
- Mentor: You'll be a mentor to team members to help develop their skills and elevate their performance.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
A college degree is not required but could set you apart. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job. You will need 5+ years of experience in a corporate training role and/or have experience with training design, delivery and prior leadership facilitation experience.
- Strong GlobalView or ADP Global Payroll processing experience
- Client and associate training/consulting experience
- Significant experience in a serviced focused organization
- Sound experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong communication and performance consulting skills
- Experience in influencing stakeholders within complex organizations
- HCM and payroll knowledge
- Knowledge of Cognition, adult learning, instructional design and delivery theories
