GPS Support Specialist Full Description

General Summary of Position:
The Graduate, Online & Professional Studies team is seeking a part-time Support Specialist. This role is vital to supporting the needs of the Graduate & Undergraduate admissions, recruitment, advising, and student services teams through various administrative tasks, customer service and student support. A strong desire to provide top-tier customer service is a must.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; answering phones, assisting prospective students, processing paperwork related to student applications, answering emails, updating and maintaining student records.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
  • HS diploma or GED/equivalent 
  • Background in customer support
  • Preference to those with previous higher education experience
  • Must be proficient in MS office
This is a fully on-campus, part-time, 18 hours per week position in Lowell, MA.
The GPS office is typically open from 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will be available to work at least one shift until 5pm each week and have Friday availability.
