Description of Work  | As the Graduate Program Coordinator, you will: Serve as the primary coordinator for graduate student support and provide general office management for the School combining Entomology and Plant Pathology, with primary responsibility for the Entomology graduate program and associated academic and administrative functions. Support prospective, incoming, and current M.S. and Ph.D. students throughout the graduate student life cycle. Coordinate admissions, onboarding, assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, records, academic scheduling, and Graduate Committee activities Serve as a key point of contact for graduate students. Provide general office, building, event, and customer-service support to ensure effective daily operations of the School. 
This position is located on UNL’s East Campus in Lincoln, NE. Within the UNL system, this position is categorized as an Office Associate.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | High school diploma plus four (4) years of experience providing administrative support or related work; ORAssociate degree in business, communications, or related field plus two (2) years of experience providing administrative support or related work. Equivalent education/experience considered. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams), or similar tools, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software and digital tools. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with frequent interruptions.
