GENERAL DESCRIPTION | The Testing Supervisor is primarily responsible for the training, on-site supervision, and incident report aspects of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) testing project. In addition, acting as a liaison between Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and CPS is a central role to the position. Working closely with the Project Manager and administrative staff, the Testing Supervisor helps ensure the testing is conducted with a minimum of problems and complaints from students who take the test and their parents. With a great degree of autonomy that coincides with the position, flexibility and diligence are essential.

Qualifications
Education & Experience | Bachelors Degree required.
Knowledge & Skills | A minimum of 2 years of working experience required, with the ideal candidate being a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience. Experience working with young children and parents, the school system, training, and/or the testing field is preferred.
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY | Not required to supervise others. No specific budget authority.
Physical Environment and Requirements | Frequent walking around to coordinate testing groups and staff Requires interaction with children and parents of diverse backgrounds Ability to be instantly on-call for any issues that arise

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibility | Organize and implement the training program for staff before testing seasons Provide on-site supervision for both individual and group testing (weekdays and weekends)
