Position Overview:

Our talent group has deep expertise in the go-to-market space. This opportunity is a newly- created role to help grow our practice.  The Head of Instructional Design is responsible for owning the design and development of innovative, insight-based B2B go-to-market training products and ensuring high-quality customization for client-specific needs. This role combines deep expertise in instructional design with strong business acumen and go-to-market skills that enable the individual to lead the product development process for training, standardize customization processes for client delivery, and enable facilitators to lead high-impact classroom experiences. This person must be comfortable in ambiguous, agile environments.

Responsibilities:

Product Development Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of new B2B sales assessment and training products aligned with market needs and client objectives
  • Define instructional strategies, learning objectives, and assessment methods to ensure measurable outcomes and job-embedded learning
  • Hire and lead a team of instructional designers to create new products and customize client needs.
  • Drive innovation in learning formats, including blended and digital solutions

Customization & Standardization
  • Oversee customization of client materials while maintaining brand and methodology integrity
  • Working closely with Customer Success, develop standardized templates and processes for customization to ensure efficiency and consistency across projects
  • Ensure all adaptations align with core learning principles and client-specific goals

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align product development with business strategy
  • Provide thought leadership on instructional design best practices and competency-based learning
  • Support vendor and facilitator onboarding to ensure consistent delivery of customized solutions

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on B2B GTM training
  • Proven track record in leading product development and managing customization projects in a training business
  • Expertise in adult learning principles, competency-based design, and assessment strategies
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills

Salary $160,000-200,000. Bonus eligible.
