About the Role
You will serve as a consultant, providing effective HR guidance and support to the teams you partner with. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with leaders and employees across the business to deliver people-focused solutions that support business objectives, talent growth, and employee engagement. You will play a key role in advancing HR initiatives, fostering an inclusive culture, and supporting the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Partnering with our Recruitment, Talent, Learning and Development, Benefits, Payroll, Rewards and Employee Relations teams to address their goals
  • Drive & support initiatives to build and maintain a diverse & inclusive community
  • Developing, implementing, & supporting HR-related strategies & initiatives for the business which support Elsevier's people strategy and priorities
  • Serving as a consultative business partner advising on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to business unit leaders
  • Organizing and facilitating the Talent Review process ensuring effective succession planning and talent pipelining
Requirements
  • Have solid experience as a General HR Business Partner
  • Possess excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing skills at all levels of an organization
  • Have the desire to develop and progress in your role and grow with your team
  • Be a motivated self-starter with a passion for talent management and career development
  • Show attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $65,100 - $108,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
Base Pay Range for CO is $65,100 - $108,500. Base Pay Range for IL is $68,300 - $113,900. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $71,600 - $119,300. Base Pay Range for MD is $68,300 - $113,900. Base Pay Range for NY is $71,600 - $119,300. Base Pay Range for New York City is $78,100 - $130,300. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $65,100 - $108,500. Base Pay Range for OH is $61,800 - $103,100. Base Pay Range for NJ is $77,000 - $123,000.
