Position Overview | Reporting directly to the Recruitment Operations Lead and the Director of Human Resources (HR), this position provides HR coordinator services by partnering with internal customers within the University of Idaho. This position will work closely with units and departments to provide support on HR issues.
Duties may include: Provide support on HR matters including recruitment and hiring Refer and direct requests and questions to the appropriate HR functional area Interpret and apply University procedures, policies and business processes Coordinate within designated area of subject matter expertise Plan and carry out work independently and timely Partner with HR to create cross functional teams in order to create solutions for units and departments Assist with routing HR forms and updating employee records Other duties as assigned

Required Experience | One year of human resources or recruiting experience Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues
Required Education | High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Other | None
Additional Preferred | Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or closely related field Knowledge of higher education or state government personnel policies and procedures Human Resource experience in a higher education setting Customer service, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience working collegially and collaboratively with internal and external constituencies Experience with applicant tracking systems Understanding of job analysis methods and/or job classification concepts
