Job Summary
About the Role:  We're looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional to join our HR data and analytics team.  In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of data, systems, and people - transforming workforce data into insights that drive strategy and decision-making across HR, Finance, and other key University partners.  You'll help design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data tools that enhance our HR analytics capabilities and support regulatory reporting.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for operational, ad hoc, and regulatory needs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data teams to design and improve data models, validate data quality, and manage HR data tools.
  • Support data governance efforts by ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Deliver actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, and predictive reporting to inform workforce strategies.
 
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, information technology, computer science, social science or other related data or computer fields
  • Two or more years of experience working with HR, financial, or operational data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with some experience in data visualization and BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Commitment to data quality, accuracy, and process improvement
  • Excellent skills in time management, ability to manage multiple assignments with different deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality

What Is Helpful:
  • Experience with coding, writing basic logic, and/or SQL
  • Experience with Cognos and Tableau
  • Experience with enterprise business data, including HR Data
  • Experience with end-to-end technical testing cycles from Development to Production
