POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Human Resources (HR) is seeking a Data and Onboarding Associate to provide outstanding support to the HR Data and Onboarding team. This position will be specifically supporting the Onboarding team.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Providing a positive and welcoming onboarding experience to new employees joining the Penn State community.
  • Assisting new employees with the completion of Form I-9 and other related onboarding requirements in accordance with Federal/State laws and University policies.
  • Processing human resources and payroll forms in our Human Capital Management system, Workday. Transactions processed in Workday include the following: terminations, compensation changes, supplemental payments and graduate assistant appointments.
  • Ensuring timely processing in accordance with payroll deadlines.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

The successful candidate must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, professionalism, the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; and a high degree of sensitivity in handling confidential information. Proficiency in Office365 suite is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written; the ability to effectively learn and utilize new technologies; and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $34,800.00 - $55,500.00.
