The University of Florida College of Medicine is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership aligned with the college's academic, clinical, research, and administrative missions. This role partners with department leaders to deliver proactive HR guidance in workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development while contributing to college-wide HR strategy and engagement initiatives.

Highlights

  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor and partner to department leaders within the College of Medicine.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational development, and change management efforts.
  • Coordinate HR support between College of Medicine departments and UFHR divisions and Centers of Expertise.
  • Advise on recruitment, retention, onboarding, internal mobility, and succession planning.
  • Provide compensation consultation including classification, market analysis, and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Lead and support college-wide HR initiatives and strategy implementation projects.
  • Required: Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in higher education or healthcare HR, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft 365, SalesForce, HRIS systems, and familiarity with employment laws and HR policies.
  • Preferred SHRM-CP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
  • Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
