Highlights

Deliver customer-focused HR support through the Gillings HR Service Center.
Manage recruitment, compensation, position management, payroll, data integrity, and faculty Appointments, Promotions, and Tenure (APT) processes.
Utilize the school's HR service request system for tracking and resolving requests.
Provide guidance on HR policies and serve as a problem-solving resource.
Monitor departmental trends and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Requires bachelor's degree and two years of progressive HR management experience or equivalent.
Experience with HRIS systems, data reporting tools, and knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, and ADA.
Preferred knowledge of Appointment, Promotions, & Tenure processes; ConnectCarolina, CarolinaTalent, InfoPorte, and UNC TIM systems.
Salary range: $65,870 - $78,357 annually.
Full-time permanent position reporting to the HR Team Lead, includes backup duties within the HR service center.
