General Summary
Eastern Michigan University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring compliance with university policies and legal regulations.Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.Assist with benefits administration, answering employee inquiries, and providing guidance on available plans and enrollment procedures.Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness across the university.Collaborate with other departments to facilitate training programs, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in Google suite and familiarity with HR information systems.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
