The role involves managing HR and payroll functions for several departments within the college, coordinating visa application processes, processing academic personnel appointments, and serving as a liaison between the college and various campus HR and payroll offices. The position also requires handling payroll discrepancies, leave audits, and supporting administrative HR tasks.

Manage locum hire payments and process academic personnel appointments in Peoplesoft payroll system.
Coordinate visa processing including H-1B, TN, and Green Card applications in collaboration with Immigration Compliance Services and Fragomen.
Administer payroll distributions, troubleshoot time and labor issues, and maintain payroll accuracy.
Process personnel actions such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, and dual employment via the ePAF system.
Maintain and input job postings in the GatorJobs recruitment system and assist search committees.
Assist with leave audits, resolve leave discrepancies, and manage leave payouts.
Provide backup support to the HR Manager and maintain personnel records in PeopleSoft and document imaging systems.
Required to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation ranges from $22.04 to $23.95 per hour.
Works with multiple academic departments within the College of Veterinary Medicine and coordinates with campus HR, Payroll, and Immigration offices.
