Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary | Ideation Lab Assistants work with the Faculty Lab Lead in creating visual content and graphics for a variety of projects and campaigns. This role offers hands-on experience in design support, layout and composition, image editing, and developing proficiency with industry-standard software. Ideal for aspiring designers, the position encourages creative input and adaptability while helping build a strong foundation for a future career in design.
Responsibilities | Assisting the Ideation Lab Design team in various tasks related to creating visual content, graphics, and other design elements for projects and campaigns. Responsibilities and requirements may vary but include: design support, software learning and beginning proficiency, Creative input, Layout/Composition, image editing, and adaptability. Junior Designer position is a great entry-level opportunity to gain experience in the design field and build a strong foundation for a career in design.
Required Qualifications | Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and tools Creative thinking and problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Effective time management and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications | Ability to take direction and work collaboratively Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or willingness to learn Strong visual sense and attention to detail
