Pay: $30.24 - $68.07 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This may be a 100% work-from-home opportunity but you must reside in Colorado. Travel among all UCHealth sites will be required.

Summary:

Designs and delivers engaging learning experiences for IT systems, applications, and Artificial Intelligence-enhanced tools. This role develops high-quality content, partners with subject matter experts, mentors the Associate Instructional Designers, and uses data and AI insights to enhance training effectiveness and learner outcomes

UCHealth is hiring for an Instructional Designer IT. Candidates will be considered for one of the following levels:

Instructional Designer Associate IT

· Collaborates with the Instructional Designer to develop adaptive learning modules and facilitator-led materials that respond to learner needs and performance trends, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance engagement and instructional impact.

· Adheres to procedures for quality assurance processes for all generated content and established guidelines for data privacy and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in educational materials under the mentorship of the Instructional Designer.

· Understand, build and maintain, under the guidance of the Instructional Designer complex training environments utilizing tool such as: Barcodifier, AutoResults, Epic TXT, Print Routing, TWAIN Imaging, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, uPerform and Amplifire.

· Utilize data analytics to understand how to curate existing learning materials and structure new content. Use learning assessment data to inform course and content design.

· Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. 0 months to 2 years instruction design, training or analyst experience.
This position's pay range is: $30.24 - $45.36/ hour.

Instructional Designer IT

· Develops adaptive learning modules and facilitator-led materials that respond to learner needs and performance trends, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance engagement and instructional impact. 

· Adheres to procedures for quality assurance processes for all generated content and established guidelines for data privacy and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in educational materials. 

· Build and maintain complex training environments utilzing tools such as: Barcodifier, AutoResulter, Epic TXT, Print Routing, TWAIN Imaging, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, uPerform and Amplifire. 

· Utilize Artificial Intelligence-powered data analytics to understand how to curate existing learning materials and structure new content. Use learning assessment data to inform course and content design. 

· Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. 2 years instructional design experience with two years relevant application experience.

This position's pay range is: $37.04 – $55.57 / hour.

Instructional Designer Sr IT

· In collaboration with IT Leadership, drives the strategy for producing Artificial Intelligence-infused content, advising stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence for learning. 

· Adheres to procedures for quality assurance processes for all generated content and established guidelines for data privacy and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in educational materials. 

· Designs and structures content for reuse and retrieval through AI Agents, enhancing access to performance support and role-specific knowledge utilizing tools such as: Barcodifier, AutoResulter, Epic TXT, Print Routing, TWAIN Imaging, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, uPerform and Amplifire. 

· Utilizes Artificial Intelligence-driven data analytics to track learning outcomes, identify curriculum weaknesses, and make data-driven improvements to existing content and mentor all staff for improvements. 

· Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. 4 years instructional design experience with at least two years relevant application experience.
This position's pay range is: $45.38 - $68.07 / hour.
