Job Summary  | Instructional:20% workload
Teach live VCI or WBI courses with enrollments up to 40 half credits per school year Up to three, 1-hour live classes per day Offer a minimum of 4 tutoring hours per week available to all ACCESS students Tutoring hour requirement may be increased if active course enrollments fall below 65 half credits per semester Teacher would be eligible for secondary contract for any enrollments beyond the contractual 40 half credits Subject Matter Expert: 80% workload Organize and manage Professional Learning Community for department teachers including scheduled departmental meetings Work with support center to develop and present two subject specific professional development trainings per year Support schools through in person visits as needed Provide subject matter specific support to teachers and stakeholders as needed Manage courses within department as needed if original teacher becomes unavailable Work with ACCESS Course Development as needed to provide subject matter expertise to help resolve issues discovered in ACCESS courses Evaluate courses to ensure quality instruction
