COMPENSATION: The salary for this job is $100,000.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Oversees L&D training activities and platforms specifically related to technology, to maximize sales department effectiveness. Serves as expert on all matters related to the technological side of yearbook sales. Also supports all other L&D training as appropriate and designated by manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for adapting and creating training materials/modules for customer-facing and rep-facing technology platforms to support ongoing technology education of independent yearbook sales representatives which impacts long-term sales results.
- Oversees projects related to creation and presentation of webinars and in-person training for ongoing technology education of independent yearbook sales representatives.
- Responsible for technology foundational learning webinars and in-person training each year.
- Supports L&D manager as a co-instructor for Varsity Yearbook University in February and July.
- Influences Salesforce Administrator and other technology platform leaders to develop platform enhancements and efficiencies for both customer and rep experience, as well as training materials to drive best practices based on platform objectives.
- Supports L&D Manager in the creation and execution of training materials for regional training meetings and national in-person meetings.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Stays informed of all products, programs, and technology to support best practices in sales, service, and business acumen for all sales partners and managers.
- Support L&D Manager by working together to execute, resolve problems, identify trends, and implement change for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Technology use and proficiency of: MS Office suite, Adobe CC Suite, LMS tools, Canva, eDesign/eBusiness suite and Salesforce
- To multi-task – working on a variety of projects at one time; to take direction while be able to work independently with self-discipline
- To provide critical feedback when needed and think innovatively for the role.
- Must be organized, yet flexible, with the ability to see the point of view of all roles within the department.
- To be creative, yet process-driven for efficiency
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years yearbook sales experience required.
- Organization, Communication, Presentation Skills, Training Ability, Foster Teamwork, Coaching, Emphasizing Excellence
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequent use of computer, keyboard, and video conferencing tools for extended periods.
- Occasional standing and walking during in-person training sessions, workshops, or presentations.
- Ability to lift and transport training materials or equipment up to twenty pounds, if needed.
- Occasional travel may be required (up to 10-20%), including air and ground transportation, for onsite training facilitation or corporate events.
Work Environment
- Primarily an office or remote/home office setting with prolonged periods of screen time.
- Collaborative environment requiring frequent interaction with cross-functional teams, including Sales, HR, and Product teams.
- Fast-paced and deadline-driven, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to professional training environments such as conference rooms, hotel meeting spaces, or virtual learning platforms.
