Description of Work  | Coordinate the Instructional unit area for the academic and nonacademic schedule of classes. Minimum Required Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, exercise science, kinesiology, sport management or related field. One year relevant experience in strength training instruction, group fitness instruction, or exercise science/kinesiology instruction. Must have the training/experience and certification (or the ability to obtain the certification within three months of employment) in one or more of the following areas: NSCA CSCS/CPTA, ACSM Group Exercise/Personal Training, AFAA Group Exercise/Personal Training, ACE Group Exercise/Personal Training, or American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.

Demonstrated understanding of an academic scheduling system to streamline course management such as CourseLeaf. Specialty certifications are desirable.
