Instructional Designer Full Description
Fully Remote • United States
- Lead virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams, including live demonstrations and Q&A.
- Provide follow-up materials to reinforce learning outcomes.
- Create and maintain instructional materials and job aids.
- Update content regularly based on user feedback and help desk insights.
- Manage class schedules and coordinate with VA’s TMS to record attendance and completion.
- Track and report on training participation and user metrics.
- Gather user feedback to improve instructional approaches and material effectiveness.
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure training aligns with current user challenges and tool updates.
Requirements
- Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)
Preferred Experience
- 4–6 years in IT software training or adult learning roles.
- Experience delivering virtual training sessions and developing materials for federal end users.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and learning management systems.
- Strong facilitation, instructional design, and communication skills.
