Job Overview
We are seeking an Instructional Designer to create effective and impactful trainings that align with our vision and mission. You will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing engaging content in digital and live formats, and developing interactive and impactful training activities. You will implement these trainings into the desired delivery format and create measurable assessments and evaluations.
Responsibilities
Produce effective and engaging educational experiences for an external and internal audience
Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to plan and develop course content, assessments, and evaluations
Assess user needs and align course content and design accordingly
Apply core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learner engagement and retention
Leverage our learning management system to deliver, track, and ensure training completion
Train instructors, managers, learners, and other stakeholders in using learning technologies
Maintain projects and organize course documentation
Analyze, update, and refine existing training content
Facilitate and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars
Qualifications
Proficiency in producing digital learning experiences using authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
Proficiency in designing and delivering instructor-led training
Strong digital design skills using tools including the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, HTML, etc.
Advanced knowledge of data evaluation and assessments
Strong project management and organization skills
Bachelor's Degree in instructional design, education, or a related field. Master’s Degree is preferred
Experience producing and delivering training in corporate and manufacturing environments
Experience with designing, producing, and delivering training in AR/VR formats
Experience administering training in a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience with Cornerstone preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
