We are searching for the best talent for an Instructional Designer located in Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Horsham, PA; or Dallas, TX.

Purpose:
This role designs and develops high-quality learning experiences that support onboarding, ongoing enablement, and capability development for Patient Service Center (PSC) employees. The Instructional Designer works from defined learning strategies, curricula, and content standards to create execution ready learning assets aligned to operational and regulatory needs. This role ensures learning solutions are effective, accurate, and scalable.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key stakeholders to clearly understand learning demand needs, performance objectives, target audience, metrics strategy, and any other deployment details to help inform content sourcing decisions.
  • Design engaging and learner-centric learning experience using appropriate adult learning and the right modality mix (instructor led – both in person and virtual training, eLearning, job aids, etc.) to meet the needs of a modern learner.
  • Create a high-level design document, storyboard, and/or rapid prototyping, and recommend approaches that enhance the quality of the learning experience; own accountability of the learning vision from creation to deployment.
  • Apply design thinking in the creation of learning experiences along with a needs analysis and confidently inform stakeholders and business partners when training may not be the appropriate solution.
  • Apply established learning architecture, content standards, and design principles consistently across materials.
  • Update and revise learning content based on product updates, process changes, feedback from delivery, or operational needs.
  • Support onboarding programs, new product launches, and priority initiatives through timely content development.
  • Ensure all learning materials are accurate, version controlled, follow the appropriate approval processes and are aligned to approved sources of truth.
  • Partner with Learning Operations to support content updates, administration, and delivery requirements.
  • Incorporate feedback and evaluation data to continuously improve learning materials.
  • Contribute to shared design standards and best practices across PSC University.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning content development, or a related field.
  • Well versed in MS Office Products (Teams, SharePoint, MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience designing and developing role-based learning materials and curricula across multiple modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning).
  • Experience leading facilitated needs analysis work sessions with multiple stakeholders to uncover root needs.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content builds simultaneously.
  • Experience in authoring tools and/or prototyping tools (i.e. Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suites, Captivate, Mural, Figma, etc.)
  • Exposure to L&D principles defining learning objectives and measures of success using a learner-centric approach integrating learning science theory.
  • Experience in communicating complex processes into simple and easy to understand concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting contact centers, customer service, or frontline operations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • Mastery of L&D principles defining learning objectives and measures of success using a learner-centric approach integrating learning science theory (ie. ADDIE model, Blooms Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick’s Model)
  • Experience with AI / technology applications to optimize instructional design opportunities.
